First off, the aesthetics are very Brooklyn. Large windows, brick walls, mixed with high end elegance. The servers were all so nice and highly informative and helpful! The food overall was immaculate. I had the roasted chicken as my entree and it was extremely juicy and moist with a yummy aioli. To end it off we had the banana date pudding which was PHENOMENAL. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after we left.

Me and my hubby were looking for a French dining around Williamsburg and chatgpt recommended this spot, i couldn’t really find it via my google searches before that. The food was amazing in general. It was our first time trying Barbajuans and it was soo tasty. The onion soup and the complimentary bread and butter were delicious. The steak had a salty and overpowering sauce so it’s not my favorite but still we devoured everything. The last star of the show was a crème brulee which was just Service was very calm and good they were very attentive. Pricing is normal for a place like that. (Maybe the steak is a bit pricey for the portion?)

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Le Crocodile yesterday, and it was nothing short of outstanding. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between sophisticated and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a special evening. Every dish we tried was remarkable. The escargot was delicious. The gnocchi dish was mouthwatering and delicate with elevated flavors. The steak and frites were classic yet flawless — perfectly cooked and seasoned, with crisp golden fries that we couldn’t stop picking at. The duck pâté was rich and silky, a true highlight that showed off the kitchen’s skill. To finish, the crème brûlée was a dream — crackly, caramelized top giving way to a creamy custard that was the perfect sweet ending. Service was equally impressive: attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely warm. Le Crocodile is a gem — a restaurant that delivers on every level: food, service, and ambiance. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

There is a place to hang your coat right outside the doors and it's a lovely, stylish space with a surprisingly laid-back atmosphere for being housed inside an iconic boutique hotel. There is a chic lounge to hang out in while waiting for the rest of your party. The perfect spot to get together with friends, a small family, or a romantic date night. Even with a full house, the acoustics easily allowed for conversation. I'm not sure if it was the vibes or the people, but the picturesque, modern uptown crowd fit in so well that they almost seemed like regulars. You'll notice that well-timed, prompt staff paired with the straightfwd menu turns tables quickly. For drinks, I was interested in something bubbly, so I asked which was the drier of the two, which our table host responded would be the Domaine Karanika. The husband took a glass of Serradinha, which I also liked. For apps, we started with 1) Scallop with Tahitian Pomelo, Cara Cara Orange and Japanese Pepper which was delicious. Note that these are two amuse-bouche portions for its price so if you rarely get to have good raw scallops, then go for it. 2) We tried the barbajuans. They were not what we thought they would be. We expected mini empanada-sized pockets and instead they were cute, smaller than bite-sized-snickers raviolis. Because they are a baked version, you get a popping boba sensation in the form of a delicate pop-tart shelled texture with a burst of spinach and cheese. It was neat to try and learn about. Our waiter recommended that our entree 3) the Frisée Salad with Poached Egg and Smoked Eel, come out at the same time as our main dish as they would complement each other. We trust opinionated and knowledgeable table hosts and we were glad we accepted his advice. Our Plats Principaux was 4) the Roast Chicken with Herb Jus and Frites. Both plates were better than we expected and we would order them again. Interesting that the dish with the shortest, simplest name would turn out to be one of the best roast chickens I've ever had. I dream about that herb mix now. Whatever you order for your main, definitely try to get those fries. Our dessert, the sticky banana date pudding with a pot of earl grey tea, sealed the night for us. We are bringing friends here.

Really good food, with the highlights being the mushroom pate and the duck confit. Service was top notch and I loved the dessert. Great place for a date, book club meeting, or business meeting based on the people around us. The menu changes seasonally so the stuff we got might not be what you get. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Very cute French spot, love the decor. Bar seats suit for low number parties, also comfortable seats for party of more. I had the burger and it was great, love the brioche bun, patty was well cooked and juicy, very guilty pleasure (for me) Banana pudding taste like a very moist banana bread (I guess that’s what a pudding supposed to taste like ) The profiteroles were delicious as well! Great place for couples and friends.

Le Crocodile was fantastic. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. The menu is unique. I tried certain dishes I’ve never had before like steak tartare & mushroom pate. Both were incredible. Entree I got the bistro steak frites, it was good not great but tried the roast chicken from my friend it was delicious. My other friends got the duck breast and really liked it. The sticky banana date pudding was so good didn’t last more than 30 seconds on our table hahah. Will definitely be returning to this spot! Great place for a date or dinner with friends

5 stars all the way. This has been my best dining experience of 2025 so far. I was in town for a business and walked in early with no reservation. I ordered the mushroom entree followed by the steak with pepper sauce and fries. Had a great glass of red wine as well. The waiter was very attentive and the food was nothing but spectacular. The steak was perfectly cooked. I liked the fact that the steak was accompanied by a lot of gravy. Unlike other restaurants who only serve a tiny bit. The bread was absolutely to die for. The french fries were one of the best I have had my entire life. And that saying something coming from a Belgian guy. The mayonnaise was quite spectacular with a tangy flavor. What a beautiful experience. I will be back when I’m in town again.
